Republication of "Concerns About the Taxation of Americans Resident Abroad" by Jacqueline Bugnion

One of the most respected and articulate professional groups in the world fighting for tax justice for Americans Abroad has been American Citizens Abroad. At its head as director for many years, has been Jacqueline Bugnion who recently retired after many years of solid, effective and aggressive leadership.

With permission from Tax Notes and Jacqueline herself, we are proud to republish her recent article in Tax Notes which is one of the best summaries we have seen which lists and discusses all of the many reasons why the United States’ system of Citizenship Based Taxation, (unique in the civilized world) is anachronistic, fundamentally unfair, and completely out of step with the rest of the world.

You can find Jacqueline Bugnion's article, "Concerns About the Taxation of Americans Resident Abroad" here.
